Vision
The vision of the Fundy Biosphere Trails Initiative is to :
• Create a network of trail systems within the Fundy Biosphere Reserve to connect Sackville and St. Martins to build a marquee outdoor recreational experience and tourist destination.
• Network to consist of trail organizations, groups and municipalities in a collaborative and cooperative project.
• Develop interpretive signage throughout system highlighting significant ecosystem, cultural and historic landmarks.
• Develop an interactive web presence that includes GIS mapping and pictures with the ability of users to upload and comment on experiences.
• Develop a parallel cycling route highlighting different tourist destinations between Sackville and St. Martins (including Hopewell Rocks, Cape Enrage, Mary’s Point)

May 1st, 2008 - Funding application for project coordinator.
May 8, 2009 - Got remaining stakeholders involved in the project.
May 28, 2009 - Meeting with the stakeholders.
June 5, 2009 - Finalized the cooperative agreement.
August 28, 2009 - The framework of the master plan is completed.
